Parcel Label: Privacy Policy

Parcel Label is an app for printing address labels. It is made by Conetca Technology Private Limited.
The short version
Parcel Label works entirely on your phone. It has no account, no server and no advertising. It does not collect, send or share any information about you or about the people whose addresses you print.
On Android the app does not hold the internet permission, so it has no way to send anything.
What the app stores, and where
Everything below is stored only on your phone, in the app’s own private storage:
- The addresses, names and notes in your print list.
- Your address book: people you have printed labels for. You can turn this off in Settings, and delete any entry.
- Your print history.
- Your “From” addresses and logo.
- Your printer profiles and their alignment settings.
Deleting the app deletes all of it. If your phone backs up app data to your own cloud account (Google or Apple), that backup is governed by that account, not by this app.
What the app can access, and why
- Camera: only when you choose Scan, to photograph an address. The photo is read on your phone and is not uploaded.
- Photos: only the picture you pick yourself, to read an address from a screenshot or to use as your logo.
- Contacts: only the single contact you pick in your phone’s own contact picker. The app never reads your contact list.
- Files: only the spreadsheet you pick yourself to import, and the file you choose to save when you export your address book.
- Bluetooth: only to send labels to a thermal printer you have paired. It is not used to find your location.
- Text shared from another app: only the text you choose to share into Parcel Label.
Text recognition (reading an address from a picture) runs on the phone using a model bundled with the app.
How long data is kept, and how to delete it
Your data stays on your phone until you remove it. You can remove a label from the print list, delete an entry from the address book, delete a print from the history, or delete a “From” address at any time; each is gone at once. Uninstalling the app removes everything it stored. Because nothing is sent to us, we hold no copy and have nothing to delete on our side.
How your data is kept safe
Everything is kept in the app’s own private storage on your phone, which other apps cannot read. Nothing is transmitted to us or to anyone else, so there is no copy of your data on any server.
Printing and sharing
When you print, the label is handed to your phone’s print system or to your Bluetooth printer. When you share a PDF, it goes to the app you choose. What those do with it is up to them.
A label can carry a QR code that holds a Google Maps link to the address printed on that same label (or to your own shop, if you choose that). The app only prints the code. It contacts nobody: the link is opened by whoever scans the label, on their own phone, and Google then handles that request under its own policy.
Children
The app is a general-purpose tool and is not directed at children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new effective date.
